CHIVAS 12 Year Old With Highball Mug Gift Pack 2024
Chivas is a blend of many different malt and grain Scotch whiskies, matured for at least 12 years. This rich, smooth blend balances style with substance and tradition with a modern twist.
Visionaries? Connoisseurs? Artisans? Entrepreneurs? Philanthropists? In fact, The Chivas Brothers were a fine blend of each, much like the whisky they pioneered. Moreover, the journey the brothers embarked upon back in the day doesn’t have a final destination. We are still on the journey today. Humble beginnings, but a landscape full of character and possibility. In addition, growing up on a remote Scottish farm, James and John Chivas were acutely aware that the world around them was changing and the idyllic backdrop they called home was no longer big enough to support their desire to make a difference.
Furthermore, following a three-day journey on foot, the brothers found themselves in Aberdeen. A city that perfectly matched their ambition. Finding gainful employment at an Aberdeen emporium James was quickly captivated by a whole new world of tastes, smells and exquisite flavours. Anything seemed possible and James quickly garnered a reputation for obtaining the unobtainable. If they didn’t stock it, they’d find it. If they couldn’t find it, they’d make it. When John joined the business Chivas Brothers was born.
Chivas Brothers LTD
The brothers’ eye for an astute business opportunity brought them hard earned success in Aberdeen and beyond, but for James & John, success always tasted better shared. However, they were generous with their time and their money, from financing a window in an Aberdeen church to James being honoured with a trusteeship of the Royal Infirmary. From the cellar beneath their emporium, the brothers began a tradition of ageing whiskies. As their clientele began demanding a smoother, richer whisky experience, they began to blend together these aged Scotch whiskies. Humble early experiments developed to solidify their position as true pioneers in the art of blending.
In fact, Chivas Brothers became famous for their fine luxury products with orders coming in from across the globe. In addition, James Chivas received his first Royal Warrant in 1843, serving Queen Victoria at her Balmoral countryside retreat. This Royal approval ensured that Chivas Brothers had the perfect foundation to realise their ambition.
Chivas taking New York
Fast forward to 1909, Master Blender Charles Howard and Alexander Smith create a 25-year-old blend that would become the world’s first luxury whisky. Pioneering and generously smooth, a perfect tribute to the Chivas Brothers’ legacy. Chivas Regal burst onto the world stage, enchanting New York on its way.
Central to the ethos of the Chivas blend is ‘maintaining exceptional’. Moreover, each and every cask of whisky has a unique signature taste. The final character of the spirit is influenced by an almost infinite number of variables, many of those focused on the not-so-humble cask. In addition , the aged quality of oak used to construct the cask. The consistency of climate within the warehouse. The precise position within the warehouse where the cask ages. Taking control of these variables, embracing the nuances and crafting a consistently smooth whisky experience is much more than a mere process.
PERFECTING THE BLEND USING ONLY THE VERY FINEST INGREDIENTS
Perfecting the blend using only the very finest ingredients became the hallmark of every bottle that left the business. A hallmark that lives on today. “The art of the Master Blender in understanding the many different flavours in Scotch whisky is like the work of a composer: not only do you need to completely understand the musical characteristics of every instrument, but you must also understand how to combine them to build an unforgettable, spellbinding symphony.” There is no conflict when it comes to the ingredients in a Chivas blend. The symbiotic relationship between each and every whisky is essential. Balance is key. Control the ingredients. Consolidate the flavour.
MARTELL VSOP Red Barrel 2024 Limited Edition Gift Pack With 2 Tumbler Glasses
Known for their elegance and sophistication, Martell cognacs are produced with the use of fine grained oak barrels and double distillation of clear wines without sediments that have become the signature of Martell’s fine taste.
When a barrel is called “Red”, a reference to the reddish color of aged wood, it has aged before other eaux-de-vie during at least 2 years up to 8 years, reaching the perfect stage of maturation for both the wood and the spirit.
For Martell VSOP aged in Red Barrels, our cellar master selected only these very rare “red fine grained oak barrels” to age this cognac, highlighting Martell specific ageing style.
MARTELL Noblige Limited Edition 2024
Made by one of the oldest and most globally renowned cognac houses, the Martell Noblige showcases a perfect harmony of strength and smoothness.
The Noblige comes in a sleek and contemporary bottle. Its seamless outline is elegant and luxurious to the eye, evoking a memorable visual experience with just a glance.
Origin of Martell Noblige
The Noblige is a staple in Martell’s signature collection of classic cognacs. Its launch across Singapore last year has effortlessly taken the South East Asian cocktail scene by storm.
“Noblige” stems from the French phrase “Noblesse Oblige”, which translates to the unspoken duty that comes with high status and wealth. As the definition of power and influence changes over the years, it adds an intriguing nuance to the meaning behind this sophisticated and elegant cognac blend.
How is it produced?
White wine made from grapes harvested in France’s Cognac region is double-distilled to form eaux-de-vie. The middle portion of the liquor—the ‘heart’—is then aged in oak barrels. Martell uses clear white wines in their distillation process to retain the full aromas of the grapes.
The blending of different eaux-de-vie is what makes every cognac unique. The Noblige gets its round and powerful flavours from the combination of over 70 eaux-de-vie made from wine grapes harvested in the Borderies region of France, where grapes are known for their exquisite floral notes and smoothness.
Deep gold to the eye with vibrant copper hues, the nose carries hints of lightly toasted caramel and vanilla under fruity notes of citrus and pear. Years of ageing in fine-grained oak also bring out the Noblige’s distinctive woody tones in its aroma.
On the palate, the Noblige offers a smooth and floral sensation, a perfect balance between strength and comfort on the tongue. Accompanying the floral tastes unique to Borderies’ eaux-de-vie are rich vanilla, prune, cedar, and caramelised grapes. Lastly, the drink has a memorable and rich finish while sustaining a good balance and length.
Is Martell Noblige a VSOP?
Cognacs classified as Very Superior Old Pale (VSOP) are required to age for at least four years. Because of this process, the resulting product yields lighter and more subtle flavours on the palate.
Though the Martell Noblige is technically a VSOP, it still boasts an explosion of flavours due to its robust formulation of eaux-de-vie. This gives it an unusually complex flavour profile comparable to no other.
How to drink Martell Noblige?
The Martell Noblige can be taken neat, on the rocks, or even in a cocktail. It is usually taken as an aperitif or a digestif, but rarely with food.
Nonetheless, the versatility of the Noblige makes it a drink for all occasions, from parties to wedding anniversaries.
Cognacs on their own give a full and intense experience to the drinker. The addition of mixers like soda and lemonade can prolong the experience while adding a spritz of exciting flavours, inviting a different kind of indulgence.
The Martell Noblige is exceptional in cocktails, thanks to its complex composition of eaux-de-vie and round flavour profile. If you’re a fan of cocktails, you should try crafting these 4 mixes at home:
- Espresso shot, sugar syrup
- Plum wine, soda water
- Lemon juice, rosemary syrup, orange juice
- Triple sec, lemon juice, citrus zest
The Martell Noblige is an incredibly versatile cognac with abundant fruit aromas and spicy, woody notes. A glass of this timeless blend guarantees to bring out the best in any celebration regardless of how you choose to drink it. Grab a bottle of the prestigious cognac Noblige at a discounted price now!

JACK DANIEL’S is an iconic Tennessee whiskey brand with close to 150 years of history that was officially established in Lynchburg, Tennessee, in 1875. The brand’s whiskeys are made from the finest choice of grains and mixed with iron-free natural spring water that flows from the Cave Spring Hollow.
In 2011, the brand introduced its first flavoured expression—JACK DANIEL’S Honey Tennessee Whiskey. It is based on the brand’s “black label” Tennessee Whiskey and features hints of their naturally smooth “proprietary honey liqueur.” Each bottle has 35% alcohol by volume (ABV, 71 proof).
JACK DANIEL Fire Tennessee Whiskey is a classic cinnamon-infused spirit, with a nose that’s immediately redolent of Red Hots, but not overpowering. The body is more quiet and candylike than, well, fiery. The palate starts off sweet, with vanilla caramel notes, essentially classic JD, with the attention of some apple cider character in the mid-palate. The cinnamon comes along later, well tempered with plenty of sugar to keep the cinnamon candy notes from searing the roof of your mouth. This is fine — no one is drinking these whiskeys because they enjoy pain — but Jack’s rendition ends up a little over-sweetened, the way too much Equal leaves a funky taste on your tongue.
