Grand Brut has a brisk freshness and a generous balance with aromas of white flowers and yellow fruits. A perfect introduction to the floral, stylish and diamond-cut style of the House of Perrier-Jouët.

Product History
Maison Perrier-Jouët is a Champagne House founded in Epernay in 1811 by Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët. Down the decades, this heritage was enriched with discernment and precision, based on the style the family wished to adopt for its wines. The excellence of the raw materials has always been a major preoccupation, and particular attention is given to the noble chardonnays, which lend such particular character to the House wines. A refined and subtle blend of charm and elegance. The multiple facets of each wine reveal a broad aromatic palette and a subtle persistence. Floral, stylish and diamond-cut: the hallmark of wines from the House of Perrier-Jouët. An exceptional vineyard, giving the chardonnays, that are predominant in the House's champagnes, all the richness of their floral aroma. A style passed down through the years, in the secrecy of the House Cellars by the Cellar Master, expert in their craftsmanship.

  • Palate: soft and sweet. The slight smokiness can be found just like the bright fruits. The alcohol starts decently, but then builds up in the course of some strength.
  • Finish: In the medium long finish you will find pear and very slight oak bitterness.

Known for their elegance and sophistication, Martell cognacs are produced with the use of fine grained oak barrels and double distillation of clear wines without sediments that have become the signature of Martell’s fine taste.

When a barrel is called “Red”, a reference to the reddish color of aged wood, it has aged before other eaux-de-vie during at least 2 years up to 8 years, reaching the perfect stage of maturation for both the wood and the spirit.

For Martell VSOP aged in Red Barrels, our cellar master selected only these very rare “red fine grained oak barrels” to age this cognac, highlighting Martell specific ageing style.

Originally, Jim Mcewan crated this single malt. In addition, he was a distilling legend. He also presented floral and elegant house style. As a result, it has become our signature bottling.

Jim has now retired but the spirit for this definitive Bruichladdich is still made from 100% Scottish barley, trickle distilled, and then matured for its entire life, on Islay, by the shores of Loch Indaal.

Each vatting of this classic multi-vintage cuvee is now carefully assembled from a suite of individual casks by our Head Distiller Adam Hannett.

Cognac is not made, it is created.
At Hennessy, cognac is not improvised. It is raised with kindness and attention, firmness and affection.

In Cognac, and only in Cognac. At Hennessy, cognac is not improvised. However, it is raised with kindness and attention, firmness and affection. First, there is the grapevine. It yields Ugni Blanc, the light fruity grape specially suited to Hennessy Maison’s double distillation in great copper stills. To ensure the aromas will be both excellent and varied, only eaux-de-vie from the four great crus of the region (Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies and Fins Bois) are selected for the privilege of becoming great Hennessy cognacs.

MARTELL Cordon Bleu Gift Set. The classic Martell Cordon Bleu was first bottled in 1912 by Edouard Martell. This iconic Martell Cordon Bleu brandy has since become synonyms with the highest standard of quality when it comes to cognacs.

Martell is the oldest of great Cognac Houses.  Because it was founded in 1715, some refer to Martell Cognac as Martell 1715. The first cases of Martell arrived in China in 1858 and in Malaysia in 1875. That’s more than a century of good Martell in Malaysia.

Aged in fine-grain oak barrels, the Martell Cordon Bleu is a classic and unequalled in the world of cognac. The deep, golden copper gives an impression that the Cordon Bleu is full of flavour. And indeed it is.

Martell Cordon Bleu reviews have noted that there is a well-rounded mellowness to this brandy. A sustained finish with fruity and spice notes on the palate gives an added complexity to the final elegance of this drink.
