Lillet is made since 1872 in Podensac, a small picturesque village south of Bordeaux. There, at the authentic “Maison Lillet” distillery, a dedicated team of fewer than ten people take care of Lillet production. All the ingredients for Lillet’s unique recipe are chosen with great care: French wines are selected for their quality and organoleptic complexity, while the fruits, cinchona barks, and sweet and bitter orange peels display remarkable freshness and aromatic richness. This masterful balance of rich fruit and superior wine is the result of almost 150 years of craftmanship.
=Product Description=
Martell XO (Extra Old) is instantly identifiable for its intense taste and bold, contemporary design, which are an expression of the audacity of Maison Martell. The House’s signature interpretation of the prestigious Grande Champagne terroir.
The power and intensity characteristic of Grande Champagne Eaux-de-vie are uniquely revealed by the House’s specific double distillation of exclusively clear wines and aging in barrels of fine-grained oak. Their forceful character is balanced by the elegance of Eaux-de-vie from the rare Borderies cru, with which Maison Martell is historically associated.
This prestigious cognac has a forceful, charismatic personality reflected in the striking arch of its bottle.
Martell XO is thus instantly recognizable for its exceptional combination of power and finesse: on the
nose, it is distinguished by a piquant, spicy sensation with notes of black and pink pepper and coriander,
rounded out by rich aromas of fig, walnut, and sandalwood; on the palate, intense notes of fig, red fruit
and blackcurrant bud leads into an exceptionally long, robust finish.

Product History
Founded in 1715, Martell is the oldest of the great Cognac Houses. The elegance, complexity and balance of Martell style are the result of a unique savoir-faire: the distillation of clear wines only and the ageing of its eaux-de-vie in fine-grain oak barrels.
This rare expression of The GlenDronach was distilled over fifty years ago in
1971, filled into Spanish oak casks from the bodegas of Jerez in Andalucía, and
left to quietly mature in our traditional dunnage warehouses.
Over the decades, custodianship has passed down through generations at The
GlenDronach Distillery, each cask nurtured by our Master Blender. A very small
number of casks which demonstrate exceptional character are left to reach the
celebrated age of fifty years.
This rare bottling represents a milestone in the near two-hundred-year history
of The GlenDronach distillery. Selected by Master Blender Rachel Barrie, this is
the first fifty-year-old expression of The GlenDronach to be released.
The GlenDronach Aged 50 Years has matured in rare Pedro Ximénez and
Oloroso sherry casks, followed by a final maturation in a single Pedro Ximénez
cask before coming of age.
Each of the limited release bottles of this prestigious single malt scotch whisky
has been individually numbered to reflect its rarity.

Inspired by their origins and how our liquid was first crafted in the early 1800s, The Glenlivet 12 Year Old Illicit Still is a limited edition whisky that has not been chill filtered for an authentic taste.
In 1824, before our founder George Smith licensed his distillery, the remote Glenlivet valley was the perfect location for the illicit scotch whisky trade, with distilleries handcrafting in smaller copper stills in bothies well hidden from the law.
It was there in the isolated valley that George Smith would learn his craft. Slowly and carefully distilling what would soon become the world-renowned single malt scotch whisky that established the signature fruity floral Speyside style. Bottled at 48% abv, this limited-edition malt has not been chill filtered, giving you an authentic taste of our history.

GlenDronach Distillery has released its ninth limited edition release of its Cask Strength Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía. This richly-sherried expression offers connoisseurs a deeper insight into the distillery’s signature profile, by bottling the whisky at its natural cask strength of 59.4%, to bring out the full character and depth of maturation.
With each unique Cask Strength release, Master Blender Dr. Rachel Barrie individually selects and combines the perfect marriage of sherry casks before they are bottled at natural cask strength, as was custom before the turn of the 20th Century. With every expression of The GlenDronach, the deep, natural colour is drawn from slow maturation in Spanish oak casks. The Pedro Ximénez casks impart rich, fruit flavours, whilst dry and nutty notes come from the Oloroso casks.
Little has changed over the centuries at The GlenDronach, where they carry forth the tradition and time-honoured methods that have been practiced since the distillery was established almost two hundred years ago. Founder, James Allardice, was an early pioneer of sherry cask maturation and deemed the distillery’s complex and full bodied spirit perfect for slow maturation in Spanish oak sherry casks; a popular import into Scotland from Spain in the 19th century.
Master Blender, Dr. Rachel Barrie said:
“The GlenDronach Cask Strength Batch 9 is incredibly rich and full-bodied; the result of years of slow maturation in Pedro Ximénez puncheons and Oloroso sherry butts.
Add a drop or two of water to reveal a cornucopia of flavour; from treacle toffee and raisin-filled toasted brioche, to baked apple and bramble pie and star anise. This crescendos into a lingering dark chocolate, espresso coffee finish. The depth of this Highland Single Malt’s character is boundless.”
