Product History

Monkey 47 is a batch distiller and unfiltered that unites British traditions, the exotic allure of India, and the ancient, untouched roots of the Black Forest with unsurpassed artisanal skill. Very attractive nose with typical London Dry characters with some slight spicy notes. Crisp and fresh on the nose and equally so in the mouth. Some tangy notes in the mouth add extra freshness to the traditional characters. Fairly complex. Good balance of all components and racy, fresh finish

NOSE - The opening bouquet is complex and luminous, a mingling of white flowers, citrus and stone fruit. The overall effect is enhanced by the freshness of aniseed and crushed mint. The final aromas offered by the wine are starting to show spicy, woody and roasted notes.

TASTE - After a long period of reluctance, the wine is finally opening up. There is complete balance between the nose and the palate. Its slender, minimalist, pure, toned, athletic character is now also expressed with warmth. The fruit is pronounced and clear. The vintage's characteristic acidity is remarkably well integrated. Its persistence is mainly aromatic, grey, smoky and highly promising.

To ensure the aromas will be both excellent and varied, only eaux-de-vie from the four great crus of the region (Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies and Fins Bois) are selected for the privilege of becoming great Hennessy cognacs.

Originally, Jim Mcewan crated this single malt. In addition, he was a distilling legend. He also presented floral and elegant house style. As a result, it has become our signature bottling.

Jim has now retired but the spirit for this definitive Bruichladdich is still made from 100% Scottish barley, trickle distilled, and then matured for its entire life, on Islay, by the shores of Loch Indaal.

Each vatting of this classic multi-vintage cuvee is now carefully assembled from a suite of individual casks by our Head Distiller Adam Hannett.

English name: PHOENIX
The Grammy Award-winning French rock band Phoenix.
TATENOKAWA, Inc. and the band released a new project, but this time it isn’t a new record, it is a new sake! This product was produced for Toshiro Kuroda who passed away on February 4th, 2017. He was a great sake expert who devoted good part of his time to introduce sake to the french. Mr. Christian Mazzalai from Phoenix was also inspired by his passion for sake. We appreciate Mr. Kuroda's enlightenment activities for Japanese sake, and we would like to offer our prayers and condolences to him.

Tatenokawa and the band decided to collaborate out of respect and gratitude to Mr. Kuroda who spent many years working hard to promote sake in Europe. Christian says on his social media; “Mr. Kuroda was a great master who taught all the beauties of life which include sake, and is still inspiring us every day.”A portion of sales from the sake will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society to support the progression of medical technology.

Product description

This champagne is a brightly sparkling, light golden yellow liquid with an abundance of fine and elegant bubbles. The nose reveals initial aromas of ripe fresh fruit (white and yellow peaches, apricots), tropical notes (lychee and pineapple). It then opens up with the fragrance of vanilla before developing notes of milky caramel, breadcrumbs and yeast, culminating in aromas of dried fruit and honey. An explosion of freshness in the mouth, followed by strong persistence. The complex aromas of fresh fruit and caramel perpetuate the intensity.

Product History

In 1876, as a tribute to some of their most prestigious clients, Mumm decorated a few of their bottles with a crossed red silk ribbon (a reference to the Legion of Honour) and sealed them with an oval label. The success of Cordon Rouge was established…

As the Champagne des Souverains, so great was the fame of the Cordon Rouge wine that it became the symbol of the House and of champagne as a whole. The wine lovers of today continue to worship Mumm Cordon Rouge and have made the cuvée France's premier and one of the world's favourite champagnes. Georges Hermann Mumm is the man to whom we owe the House's iconic cuvée. In 1876, to assert the quality of its champagne, the House decided to adorn their bottles with a red silk ribbon, a reference to the Ordre de Saint Louis and to the Grand Cordon de la Légion d'Honneur. Its success was immediate: a symbol of Maison Mumm's excellence and expertise, the Cordon Rouge cuvée henceforth became a true benchmark all over the world.
